We’re actively pursuing ways to reduce the electrical power consumed by our warehouses – installing solar power generation systems, LED lighting and air-mover fans, as well as switching to high-efficiency electrical power equipment.
1 Making facilities more eco-friendly
Solar power generation system
Some of our facilities are equipped with a solar power generation system that enables them to contribute to the commercial power supply.

LED lighting
We are adopting LED lighting not only for warehouses but also offices as a way of reducing energy consumption.
Power demand monitoring system
By monitoring power usage, we are able to spread peak load as a way to reduce power consumption.
This system has been installed not only in warehouses but also in offices, allowing us to analyze power usage and implement a variety of measures aimed at decreasing the amount of electricity consumed.
2 Electric forklifts
We operate a large fleet of forklifts (approximately 1,000) and, in order to reduce exhaust gases, we are shifting to battery-powered models.
