Environmental Management policy

We provide logistics services for the storage, loading/unloading, packing and transportation of electrical and electronic products on behalf of the Mitsubishi Electric Group and its sales companies. We believe that environmental load is a priority issue in conducting these business activities. In fact we now specialize in eco-logistics, with the dual goals of environmental protection and sustainable development.

1. For our improvement activities of environment performance, We aim to accurately assess the impact that our business activities are having on the environment, striving to prevent pollution while continually improving our environmental management systems.
2. We observe the laws, regulations and other commitments that we have made regarding environmental protection.
3. In addition to investing the resources necessary to improve our environmental activities, working to minimize the environmental load of our business activities and supporting biodiversity, we have made the following commitments:
   1. To conduct kaizen activities for the core of our business activities – namely, transportation and delivery, warehousing, packing and related operations – striving to reduce energy consumption and emissions while working to realize a low-carbon society.
   2. To implement thorough management and proper disposal of discarded packing materials and other waste, implementing recycling initiatives and other approaches to reducing waste.
4. We make our employees and affiliates aware of our environmental management policy, and together we strive to reduce environmental load.
5. While engaging with government offices/agencies and the local populace, we work with communities to contribute toward environmental protection activities.
6. The environmental management policy is posted in each workplace and shared with all employees.
