Message from the President

Seven years have passed since MELCO Logistics de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (“MELX”) was founded in February 2014. Today with approximately 100 employees, we have been growing to become a company that contributes to the logistics operations of companies of the Mitsubishi Electric Group located inside and outside Mexico.
Focused on our in-house logistics, receiving/shipping management operation, and import and export forwarding operation of automotive equipment manufactured in Mitsubishi Electric Automotive de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., which is our major customer, we are responsible for comprehensive logistics to automotive manufacturers in Mexico as well as to North America and Europe.
In addition, we are engaged in the export operations of transport-related electrical products, manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., such as motors and inverters for subway cars, and perform business to innovate our customers' supply chains.
As a future challenge, we will develop logistics businesses that can provide safety and security through the supply of comprehensive logistics, the realization of reduction of logistics costs, and the enhancement of efficiency of in-house logistics operations, with the aim of further increasing the level of contribution to major customers and developing/strengthening personnel, while newly acquiring the air conditioning business and expanding Mitsubishi Electric Logistics as a North American base.
